HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Make A Donation

School Boy

When you make a donation, we will send you a picture of one of our students. We ask you to pray for the child each day, find ways to incorporate him or her into your family life and seek to learn more about Haiti. $65 will provide education for a child for a year. Donations large or small are welcome.
In order to make certain that one student does not receive more than another, our policy is that all donations go into a single account that is shared equally among all students.

We found that often our students we’re coming to school without having eaten. Studies have shown that a student who has eaten will average one grade higher than a hungry child. Therefore, each school day at the Haiti Mission School students are fed a hot meal. This costs us about 32 cents per student per day, or $65 per year. Just Imagine: A donation of as little as 32 cents will provide one of these children with a hot meal. Even very small donations can make a big difference.

Upon completing their third grade each student receives a new bible in Creole, their Haitian language. Your church or other group can volunteer to purchase bibles which cost $8-10 each.

In 2016 a team from Trinity Presbyterian Church in Scotia NY brought water filtration straws for each student that allows them to access pure water wherever they are. Your church or group can take on projects such as this. Contact us to discuss your ideas. School Girl and Life Stray Life straw in action
NOTE: Shipments to Haiti often go astray, and extra luggage charges are prohibitive on airlines. Furthermore, we wish to be good neighbors to local Haitian businesses. Therefore, we have decided that only in special cases will we bring materiel donations with us to Haiti. We will occasionally bring such things, if we have a large team going or if a donation is especially valuable in relation to its weight.
